Rufus "Rudy" Diamond Crumbly Jr., 65 of Denton, Texas passed away on Monday, January 15, 2018 at his home.

Rudy was born on May 11, 1952 in Jacksonville, FL. to Rufus Diamond Sr. and Hazel (Blanton) Crumbly.  He later moved to  Corinth, Texas with his family from Oklahoma in 1990.  He worked as a Communications Tech for CenturyLink in Lake Dallas for 18 years.  He loved his kids, grandkids, the lake and cooking.

Rudy is survived by, Marilyn Cooper Crumbly, three daughters, Christin Ross and husband Christopher Ross of Denton, TX., Britnie Flores and husband Elijah Flores of Ponder, TX., Mykele Soto and husband Michael Soto of Middleburg, FL., two sons, Austin Crumbly and his husband Matt Palmieri of Denton, TX , Zachary Crumbly of Denton, TX., and four grandchildren, Cayden Lee Ross, Liam Soto, Triston Bellamy and Piper Soto.

He is preceded in death by his parents Rufus Crumbly Sr. and Hazel Crumbly.

A celebration of life service will be held at Sneaky Pete's in Lewisville, TX on February 3, 2018 at 1:00 P.M. in the Monterey Ballroom.
