Russell Carr, 56, of Denton, TX passed away on Monday, December 27, 2021.  He was born in Terrell, Texas on November 19, 1965 to Joe Bert Carr and Johnnie Joe Prescott.

He married Ann Carr on November 16 ^th 1991 in a small ceremony in Fort Worth.

Russell enjoyed reading as many fantasy and science fiction books as he could get his hands on, and cooking for his family and friends. Russell was a proficient handy man and could "jerry-rig" just about anything.

He is survived by his wife, Ann Carr; son, Michael Carr; daughter, Brittany Jennings; brother,Wayne Prescott; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by mother Johnnie Joe Prescott; father, Joe Bert Carr; and sister Shirley Rapp.
