Russell Arthur Walter Rahn (born Sept 12, 1937), former resident of Wausau, WI passed away June 29, 2021 at his home in Corinth, TX. Russ was a retired teacher (including ten years at Trinity Lutheran School in Wausau), published author, musician, organist, lepidopterist, genealogist, and train enthusiast.

He is preceded in death by his parents,  Herbert and Irma Rahn, daughter, Susan Tyreman, grandson, Paul Guest, and brother, Norman. He will be remembered by his wife of 58 years, Marion (Wasmundt) Rahn; children, Barbara Rahn, David (Suzanne) Rahn, and Kathleen (Korey) Robertson; seven grandchildren; sisters-in-law Roselie (Gene) Wiedow, Carol Wasmundt, and Connie Wasmundt; brother-in-law, Jerry Nest; and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on July 10, 2021  at 1 pm at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Dallas.
