Elvin F. "Rusty" Russell, III, age 52 of Argyle, Texas passed away peacefully at home on October 15, 2020 surrounded by his family. Rusty was born in Dallas to Elvin F. "Russ" Russell, Jr. and Carolyn Kay (White) Russell.

He graduated from Texas Christian University in 1990 where he earned a bachelor of business administration and was a member of the Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity.
As a young adult, Rusty explored his creative side as an artist with skills in large canvas painting as well as drawing. He also wrote several screenplays and enjoyed watching and critiquing motion pictures.
Rusty's successful career as an entrepreneur included owning retail operations, ranching and real estate investments. But, most important to Rusty was family. Rusty married his wife Lynn in 1998 and together they had three children – Frank, Megan and John. Rusty enjoyed nothing more than watching his children participate in sports and activities.
