Ruth Jeanette Peace was called Home to be with the Lord on Friday, June 18, 2021 at her home in Denton, Texas. She was born in Denton, Texas on November 20, 1938 to Bernice & Gladys Brotherton. Ruth grew up in Lewisville, Texas.  Ruth married Willie Peace in 1955. She enjoyed spending time with family & friends. Ruth was a member of St. Andrews Church of God in Christ & worked with the prayer warriors, evangelism team, mentoring women & Pastors aid.

She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, daughter, Pamela Peace & son, Paul Peace.

Ruth is survived by sister Bernice Richardson, Son David (Regina), and Daughters Marva (David) and Gladys.

Visitation will be held from 5PM to 7PM at DeBerry Funeral Directors on Thursday, June 24, 2021. Funeral services are scheduled for 1PM, Friday, June 25, 2021 at DeBerry Funeral Directors with interment following at Roselawn Memorial Park.
