Ryan Ferguson (1974–2026)

Ryan Lee Ferguson, born March 15, 1974, to Rick and Arlene Ferguson, passed away on Saturday, April 25, 2026.

Ryan was a beloved son, a proud father and a caring brother. He spent his childhood and teenage years playing sports—years that shaped his competitive spirit, strengthened his character, and created friendships that stayed with him for life. Ryan graduated from Martin High School in Arlington, Texas, and later attended Texas Tech University, where he built lasting friendships and made memories that remained deeply meaningful to him. Ryan was a proud Red Raider.

Ryan will be remembered for his easygoing nature, quick wit, and steady sense of humor—qualities that made people feel at ease in his presence and often left them laughing. Above all, Ryan was defined by the way he loved the people closest to him.

His daughters, Finlee and Eloise, were the true joy of his life and the center of his world. He cherished every moment with them—whether it was playing video games at home, going on adventures to the zoo, watching movies together, or coaching their soccer teams. Ryan was a proud daddy, and his love for Finlee and Eloise was constant and unwavering. He loved them deeply and truly wanted the very best for them.

Ryan was preceded in death by his father, Rick Ferguson, and his son, Holder Ferguson.

He is survived by his children Tristan Anderton (Bailee), Finlee Grace, and Eloise Charlotte; his grandson, Knox Anderton; his mother, Arlene Ferguson; and his sisters, Sara Freeman (Ryan) and Lindsay Ferguson. He also leaves behind multiple nieces and nephews who loved their uncle very much, extended family members, and dear friends who will carry forward his memory through stories, laughter, and the countless fun moments they shared with him. Ryan will be deeply missed.

Service Details

A service to honor and celebrate Ryan’s life will be held on Saturday, May 9, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. at Deberry Funeral Home, 2025 W University Dr., Denton, Texas 76201.

Ryan’s legacy will live on through his children and his memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
