Sallie Ann Whitehead Baxter Pfeiffer 76, of Corinth, Texas went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, March 31, 2018 in Carrollton, Texas. Sallie was born July 30, 1941 to Wellington Ledbetter and Nannie (Maughan) Whitehead on a farm near Valley View, Texas.

She is survived by her husband George Pfeiffer and her children Cindy Baxter Goetz, Kent Baxter (Stacey), and Teresa Baxter Brown (Jim). She is also survived by her grandchildren: Emily Goetz Henry (Taylor); Morgan Goetz; Bethany Brown; Ellen Goetz; Katharine Baxter Beal (Taylor), Natalie Brown, Jenna Baxter, and her great-grandson Christian Beal.

She was preceded in death by her parents Nannie Maughan Whitehead Grigsby and Wed Whitehead; her husband Clyde Baxter; her sister Patricia Whitehead Richardson, and her son-in-law Joe Goetz.

Sallie's grandchildren were a joy in her life. She loved all the time she spent with them.

A graveside service for Sallie will be Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at 10:15 A.M. at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery in Dallas, Texas.

In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to the Northeast Texas Chapter-Dallas of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (ne-texas@cff.org) in honor of her granddaughter or the charity of your choice.
