In Loving Memory of Sally Sue Fitch
Sally Sue Fitch, a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on April 4, 2025, in Denton, Texas.
Born on August 11, 1938, in Springfield, Missouri, Sally was the daughter of Ralph and Mary Davis. She grew up in Republic, Missouri, adoring her role there as their daughter. She excelled academically, graduating as valedictorian of her high school class, which marked her lifelong love of reading.
Sally was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Larry Fitch, and her loving parents. She is survived by her three sons and their wives, Greg and Laura Dulin, Jeff and Brenda Dulin, and Steve and Melody Dulin, as well as her grandchildren: Autumn Hunt, Chris Dulin, Matthew Dulin, Scott Dulin, Corey Dulin, Sarah Dulin, Kristin Pelphrey, and Kassie Dulin and eight great-grandchildren. She treasured her role as grandmother and great-grandmother, taking great joy in the lives of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Sally is fondly remembered for attending every sporting event of her three active sons. Her countless hours in the cheering section were unwavering, no matter the event. In later years, she delighted in traveling with "her boys," creating cherished memories along the way.
Sally also took great pride in her husband Larry's career military service. Her patriotism was steadfast as was her devotion to Larry. Together, they enjoyed playing games around the table as well as both square and round dancing.
As a gifted pianist, Sally shared her musical talents with her family and community. She played at recitals, accompanied local theater productions such as South Pacific and You're a Good Man Charlie Brown, and continued to play at Bible studies in her later years.
With meticulous care, Sally served as a legal secretary for many years. Her eye for detail was also seen in her collection of antiques. She enjoyed running her antique booth, "Somewhere in Time." Sally's deep love for her furry friends was also well known, particularly so for her canine companion, Roscoe, who brought her great comfort and joy.
Sally will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband, Larry, in the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery.
May her soul rest in eternal peace.
