Samuel "Sam" Christopher Cooper, 16, of Celina, Texas went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 8, 2018. Sam was born on September 25, 2001 in Bryan, Texas to Christopher Carlan and Molly Louise (Caswell) Cooper.

Sam is survived by his parents Christopher and Molly Cooper, two sisters, Mia Louise Cooper, Mary Victoria Cooper, Carlan and Vicki Cooper of Bryan, Texas (grandparents), David and Alberta Caswell of Valley View, TX, (grandparents) Casey, Carrie, Claire, and Cate Wright of Bryan, TX (aunt, uncle, cousins) Mark, Terra, Hudson, and Jack Caswell of Frisco, TX (aunt, uncle, cousins) Micah, Kristen, Mason, and Kenlee Caswell of Denton, TX (aunt, uncle, cousins) Norman Caswell of Aubrey, TX (great-uncle) Frances Caswell of Bowie, TX (great-grandmother) Coleen Bush of Bryan, TX (great-grandmother) Bonnie Cooper of Angleton, Texas (great-grandmother)

He is preceded in death by James Henry Bush of Bryan, Texas (great grandfather) Alton and Ardella Moore of Willow Park, Texas (great grandparents) Roberta Moore of Hobart, OK (great grandmother) Elmer Caswell of Sunset, Texas (great grandfather) Thomas Cooper of Bryan, Texas (great grandfather)

The family will receive friends on Monday, May 14, 2018 from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. at First Baptist Church of Denton. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. at the First Baptist Church of Denton. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park.
