Obituary

Sawyer Elizabeth Camillo 18 of Argyle TX, student at University of Louisiana, Lafayette, passed away December 22, 2012 at Presbyterian Hospital in Denton. She was born in Lewisville to Donald A. and Lori Naughton Camillo. Sawyer was a loving, loyal, compassionate friend to everyone she met. She possessed a bright light within her that she shared with a flash of her smile. A talented athlete and avid sports fan. She felt her sports injuries were God's way of guiding her in to a study of Physical Therapy where her experiences might be used to help others. She is present with our Lord and for that we are grateful, but this has left a huge hole in our hearts here.

Sawyer was a graduate of Argyle High School and was currently attending the University of Louisiana, Lafayette (ULL). While at ULL, she was very proud to be a member of the "Ragin Cajun" Volleyball team and Cajuns for Christ. While at Argyle High School, she was a four year varsity starter for the Argyle Volleyball team garnering many awards including "All State Volleyball" and was a team Captain. She belonged to National Honor Society, FCA, Young Life and Students Standing Strong and was a charter member of Challenge Day. She was a member of Denton Bible Church.

The family will be at DeBerry Funeral Directors for Visitation on Wednesday, December 26, 2012 from 6-8 pm.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 27, 2012 at 2:00 pm at Denton Bible Church with Rev. Tommy Nelson officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park in Denton, TX.
