Obituary

Scott Donald Rustan, 58, of Cross Roads, Texas, passed away in Plano, Texas on February 6, 2015. Scott was born on April 19, 1956 to Clark and Marie (Newell) Rustan in Williston, North Dakota.

Scott served in the U.S. Navy as a Machinists Mate Nuclear Technician and attended Montana State University. He married Dawn Marie Rustan in Billings, Montana on October 6, 1990 and was a Senior Engineer at Peter Kiewit & Sons before his retirement.

Scott was a beloved husband, father to four wonderful boys and grandfather to four beautiful girls. He loved his wife and family dearly and they were the most important thing to him.

Scott loved hunting, fishing, golfing and just being outdoors in general. Of course football and baseball had a place there as well. He graduated from Montana State after studying Construction Management and ended up at Kiewit, where he found another family. He worked 21 years at Kiewit. He started in the field and worked his way up to Project Sponsor and mentored so many people along the way. There are so many stories to tell and be told!

He will be sorely missed.

He is survived by his wife, Dawn Rustan, four sons; Shawn Arbuckle, Ryan, Justin and Joshua Rustan; four granddaughters; his mother, Marie Rustan; two brothers, Brad and Trent Rustan and one sister, Cheryl McInerny. He is preceded in death by his father, Clark Rustan

A memorial service will be held Friday, February 27th at the VFW. The address is 637 Archer Avenue Billings, Montana 59103.
