Shannon Renee Horton passed away in Denton, Texas at the age of 49. She was born in Dallas, Texas to Beverly Murphy and Phillip Horton.

Shannon enjoyed all kinds of cars and cars movies reading magazines and just being pretty.

She is preceded in death her Uncle Al Dudek, grandfather Wes Weitzel, and great grandmother Hattie Turrentine.

Shannon is survived by both of her parents Philip Horton and Beverly Murphy and her two brothers Greg Horton and Ray Horton.

Shannon was cared by some amazing staff who loved her. Juliet states, "Shannon was a princess and she knew it. She reached out for hugs form us and reminded us that she was beautiful every time we interacted with Shannon. She loved looking good. Looking at herself in the mirror and changing clothes several times a day. We love you Shannon but God loved you more. I know you are up there celebrating with the angels." Kiana remember "Shannon always wanting books and for always saying beautiful you. Shannon you will truly be missed." Titilola states, "Shannon was smart, cute, intelligent, courageous and a bold lady." LaJeana will always remember Shannon for her loving personality, hugs, and spunkiness.

A celebration of Shannon's life will be held at DeBerry Funeral Home on Saturday, November 27, 2021 at 10:00 PM.
