Sharon Kay Pruiett, 64, of Corinth passed away on August 22, 2015 at home. Sharon was born on February 9, 1951 in Little Rock, Arkansas to Gene and Jean (Nelson) Garrett.

She is survived by her daughter, Merideth and son-in-law Fernando Laredo of Corinth, Texas, sister, Karen Williams of Keller, Texas, brother Richard Garrett of Grapevine, Texas and two grandchildren, Presley and Tre Laredo of Corinth, Texas.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Gene and Jean Garrett, son Michael Pruiett.

The family will receive friends at DeBerry Funeral Directors in Denton, Texas on Tuesday night, August 25, 2015 from 6-8PM. The funeral service will be held in the Chapel of DeBerry Funeral Directors on Wednesday, August 26, 2015 at 1:00 PM with the reverend John Peel officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park in Denton, Texas.
