Sharon Elizabeth Watson of Denton, Texas, passed away on September 24, 2026. She was born in International Falls, Minnesota, on January 6, 1940, to William and Ethel Watson. After moving many times due to WWII and father’s construction work, she finally settled in Mankato where she attended Mankato High School, now Mankato West. She graduated from Mankato State College with degrees in Biology and Chemistry and worked in hospital labs, 3M, and University of Minnesota. When computer programming was seeking personnel, she became a software engineer for Honeywell, which was acquired by Hughes, which was then acquired by Raytheon.

She enjoyed traveling, golf, reading, skiing, sailing and horses.

Sharon is survived by her partner, William (Bill) Klint, brother, William (Bill) Watson, sister, Linda Watson, niece Megan Weerts, and nephews Colin Weerts, Scott Watson and Wade Watson. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister-in-law April Watson.

No services will be held.
