Shawnee Renee Larance, 46, of Ponder, Texas passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, September 19, 2021 at her home. She was born in Houston, Texas on August 1, 1975.

She graduated from McCullough High School in The Woodlands, Texas, Class of 1994. Shawnee met Johnny Larance in 2002 and the couple married on November 8, 2003.

She was a loving mother and homemaker, who adored her children. She enjoyed spending time with her family, shopping, and loved the Green Bay Packers.

Shawnee is preceded in death by her stepfather, David Weir. We know Shawnee ran to her mammaw and papaw Wooten when she entered the gates of heaven. They welcomed their first grandchild to her eternal home.

She is survived by her husband, Johnny Larance, children, Johnathon Cothren, Jacob Goff, Hannah Larance, Joshua Larance, Nicholas Larance and Nathan Larance, one grandchild, Dakota Cothren, mother, Deborah Weir, sisters, Valerie Weir and Sarah Honeycutt and husband, Evan, nephew, John David Honeycutt as well as her In-Laws, W.R and Cindy Larance along with many extended family and friends, who will forever miss her.

The family will receive friends at DeBerry Funeral Directors in Denton, Texas on Sunday, September 26, 2021, from 12-2:00 P.M. The family requests that all who attend wear a facemask at all times and to please limit your time inside the building so that others may also pay their respects.
