Sherry Maxine Foutch was born on April 21st, 1955, in Denton, Texas, to Carl Jr. and Jonnie Jo Sweatman. She graduated from Denton High School. She married John Foutch in 1976, and they shared 29 years of marriage. They were blessed with two children: son Zachary and daughter Brooke. Sherry retired from Nestle Water Company in 2021, and settled in Bogata, Texas.

Sherry was very involved in youth softball; she served many years as Youth Commissioner for Texas Amateur Softball Association and Denton County Girls Softball. Her favorite place to be was at the softball fields watching her daughter, and anyone else who wore a Firefly jersey. She found joy in arts and crafts, spending time with her friends and family, and through volunteer work. After she retired, Sherry served her community by volunteering at the Clarksville Hub Community Center, Red River Valley RSVP, East Texas Food Bank, and the Senior Food Box of Clarksville.

Her friends and family were the highlights of her life. Her favorite title was "Mom", her pride and joy was her daughter, Brooke. She was very proud of her grandchildren. Her nieces/nephews, great nieces/nephews, and close friends meant the world to her. She had a heart of gold, a smile that could light up a room, and her laugh was infectious. She was always there with a listening ear, a warm hug, and unwavering support. She will be missed by many and will be cherished forever.

Sherry passed away peacefully in Texarkana, surrounded by her family and friends. She is survived by her daughter, Brooke Foutch (Wade); her grandchildren Dylan and Avagrace; sister Cindy Summers, many nieces/nephews, great nieces/nephews, and many other family and close friends whom she loved dearly.

She is preceded in death by her parents Carl Jr. and Jonnie Jo Sweatman, her son Zachary, sister Leta Whitworth, and her cousin/dearest friend Margaret.
