Sherry Lynn Greene

Sherry Lynn Greene, 79, of Argyle, Texas, died on Tuesday, August 4, 2026. She was born on December 16, 1946, in Colorado City, Texas. Sherry attended Borden County ISD located in Gail, Texas where she participated in sports and several school clubs. She was a hard worker and had a fulfilling career before retiring from AT&T. Sherry had a deep love for all animals, always showing kindness and compassion toward them, particularly her cats and dogs. She also enjoyed sewing, crafting, NASCAR, the Dallas Cowboys and all things Christmas.

She is survived by her sons Craig Phillips, Greg Phillips and Brad Phillips and her daughters Stacey Watson, Michelle Leenhouts (Scott) and Shannon Becker (Thomas) as well as several grandchildren and great grandchildren, all of whom she loved dearly.

She was preceded in death by her husband, David Greene; parents, Vernie and Frances Barr; brother, Ronald Barr; and daughter, Sharon Richesin.

A celebration of her life will be held at The Grove Church in Argyle, Texas, on August 29, 2026, at 10:00am.
