Obituary

Shirley G. Reiman, 80, of Denton passed away Tuesday, September 2, 2014 in Denton. She was born in Denton on February 18, 1934 to James Earnest Graham and Louise Richardson Graham. She married Joe Reiman on July 14, 1955 in Denton. She graduated from University of North Texas. Shirley taught 1st grade in Farmers Branch, TX for 1955 – 1956 before becoming a loving dedicated mother and housewife. She was known as Aunt Goober to a large and loving group of family and friends. Her smile and joyful laugh will be missed by all.

Visitation will be Thursday, September 4, 2014 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at DeBerry Funeral Directors. Funeral service will be Friday, September 5, 2014 at 12:30 pm at Cindy Nichols Chapel of First Baptist Church. With Rev. Cliff Feeler officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park.

Shirley is survived by her husband, Joe Reiman of Denton; daughter, Sharon Louann Breton and husband Mark of Shreveport, LA; son, Gary Reiman and wife Jamie of Denton; sisters, JoAnn Peterson of Longview, Jimmie Lou Nobles of Denton; grandchildren, Adam Reiman, Emily and Grand Dean, Sarah Reiman; great grandchildren, Weston and Brooke Dean.
