Shirley Aleter Riney, 69, of Aubrey, passed away Tuesday, September 15, 2015 at her residence. She was born August 15, 1946 in Vernon, TX to James Spurlock Morris and Carolin Louise Beavers Morris. She married Robert Thomas Riney, Sr. on January 31, 1987. She was the Sewing Department Supervisor of Del Varney Show Horse. She designed and hand made a blanket for Cisco, the star from the movie "Dances With Wolves".

Visitation will be Thursday, September 17, 2015 from 5:00 – 7:00 P.M. at DeBerry Funeral Directors. Graveside service will be Friday, September 18, 2015 at 10:30 A.M. at Roselawn Memorial Park with Chaplain Patrick Archibald officiating.

Pallbearers will be Jessica Garcia, Madonna Kelley, Brittany Smith, Shelby Riney, Jeramy Tilden, Brian Garcia, Brandon Smith, and Robert Riney III. Honorary pallbearers will be Patience Smith, MacKenzie Riney, and Alayna Garcia.

Shirley is survived by her husband, Robert of Aubrey; daughters, Sherry Smith Tilden, Lorie Riney Garcia and husband Jaime; sons, Cary Smith and wife Cheryl, Robert Riney, Jr. and wife Celeste; sisters, Frances Hardy and Jenell Barton; 11 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to American Cancer Society.
