Shirley Marie Taylor, 84, passed away at home on Saturday, March 18, 2023. She was born in Denton, Texas on January 2, 1939.

She married her husband of 65 years, Howard DeWayne Taylor, on June 16, 1955, in Denton.  Shirley lived for many years in Jacksonville, TX where she raised her family.  She retired from the Frisco Independent School District where she was an Administrative Assistant for the Maintenance and Custodial department.

She is survived by her son, Mark Taylor, 2 grandchildren, Alisha Taylor and Heather Webster, and 4 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard DeWayne Taylor, father William Howard Trevathan, mother Marie Trevathan, sister Patsy Cooper, brother Wayne Trevathan, two sons, David Taylor and Michael Taylor and 1 grandson, David Taylor.

A graveside service will take place at Swisher Cemetery in Lake Dallas on Wednesday, March 22, 2023 at 10:00 AM. Rev. Terry Johnson will officiate the service.
