Sidney Lawson Boyer Jr., passed away  Tuesday, April 13, 2021 in Denton, Texas. He was born in Lawton, Oklahoma to Sidney and Mildred Boyer on March 17, 1935. Sidney enjoyed motor homing, boating and getting to know the neighbors. He was employed as Vice President and then President of Spectravision  in Richardson, TX until he retired at 55 and started his motor home adventures.  He returned to Richardson, TX when his last grandchild was born where shortly after, he ventured to Lake Texoma where his boating adventures began.  He is preceded in death by his wife, Beverly and his parents Sidney and Mildred.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:30 PM, Friday, April 16, 2021 at DeBerry Funeral Directors with interment following at Roselawn Memorial Park.

Sidney is survived by sons Ronald & spouse Debbie Boyer, Gary Boyer, daughter, Sheryl & spouse Thomas Durbin, and grandchildren, Kenny, Chris, Marie, Candice, Melissa, Amanda and Joseph along with great grandchildren, Haileigh, Jordan, Austin, Ryan, and Jackson, Bryson, Jayden, Kaliyah, Ethan, Sam and Tyler.
