Snyder Oliver Rosenbaum Jr., age 71, of Denton passed away suddenly on August 9, 2016. He was born in Bristol, Virginia to Snyder Sr. and Ella Mae Rosenbaum (Pendergrass) on October 2, 1944.
Snyder served in the US Army, worked as a welder along with many other trades and was an avid Harley rider. Many new him as "Stick" or "Stickman" and if you met him, you would probably never forget him and his "Snyderisms". He was a member of Denton ABATE and numerous motorcycle rights organizations, as well as having a deep love and respect of the motorcycle world and his fellow brothers and sisters.
Snyder is survived by his wife of 32 years, Brenda Gwinn Rosenbaum. Children; Penny Cooper of North Carolina, Kyle of Arizona, Snyder and wife Kristen of Denton, Jason Reese of Denton, Crystal (Reese) and husband William Reilly of Colorado, seven grandchildren, Amber and Brandon of Florida, Tyler of North Carolina, Julian, Cole, Ariana and Patrick of Colorado, along with two great grandchildren. Sister, Nell Jean and husband Harold Dowell, cousins, Charles, Ronnie, William and Nancy. He is also survived by numerous other family members and many friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Uncle Bill and Aunt Mildred, father-in-law Tommy A. Gwinn, and cousin Gary.
The family will receive friends at DeBerry Funeral Directors in Denton, Texas on Friday, August 12, 2016 from 6-8 P.M. Funeral services will be held in the Chapel of DeBerry Funeral Directors on Saturday, August 13, 2016 at 2:00 PM. Interment will follow at I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Denton.
