Stacey E. Williams, 85, of Denton, Texas passed away peacefully on September 18, 2026 at the Texas Presbyterian Hospital after a battle with breast cancer. Stacey was born in McGehee, Arkansas on December 18, 1940 and was able to travel and live in Arkansas, Georgia, Ohio, and Texas. Stacey graduated from Arkansas A&M with a Bachelors in Education and later earned her MA and Ph.D in education from the University of Arkansas. Stacey was a lifelong educator who worked as a teacher, principal and superintendent in both public and private schools. At the end of her career, she worked to supervise student teachers at the University of North Texas.

Stacey is survived by her husband, Charles G. Williams, daughter Courtney Welch and her husband Michael and grandchildren Hayden and Mikayla; her sister, Deborah Jones and her husband Ted and their children Brooke Dancer and her husband Don and daughter Kayleigh Dru; and Matthew Jones and his wife Kara and daughters Mabel and Alice.

Stacey will be remembered as a friend to all that knew her, her love for all things Disney, especially Mickey Mouse, and her kindness and love for her family. Her laughter, wisdom and Christian spirit were gifts to everyone that knew her. No service is planned at this time, but donations in her name are welcomed to the charity of your choice.
