Standley Harding Cobb, 75, of Denton passed away on March 12, 2018 in Denton. He was born in Gilmer, Texas to Clearance and Euweida (Webb) Cobb on January 26, 1943.

He loved life and the people he shared it with. Stan liked golf and vintage cars. He was a loving husband and a caring father. He was an Aviation Safety Inspector for the Federal Aviation Administration and a Gulf War Veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Sue Cobb, sons; Standley H. Cobb, Jr. and Stephen M. Cobb, both of Oklahoma.

He is preceded in death by his mother and father and sister, Clarene Clugston.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 15, 2018 from 6-8 PM at DeBerry Funeral Directors in Denton, Texas. Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 16, 2018 at 10:00 AM in the Chapel of DeBerry Funeral Directors. A private family graveside will be held at the Dallas/Ft. Worth National Cemetery at a later date.
