Stella Kylene Barton went to be with the Lord in Denton, Texas on Sunday, January 12, 2025, after suffering the complications of Alzheimer's Disease. She was born in Denton to Bill and Stella George on July 25, 1943. Stella especially enjoyed doing flower arranging and reading. She is preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Harold, Merle, and Chester George and two sisters, Marie Bradshaw and Alta Wilkins all of Denton.

Funeral services will be held at DeBerry Funeral Directors at 11:00 AM, Thursday, January 16, 2025, with a visitation to be held an hour before, at 10:00 AM. There will be no services at the cemetery.

Stella is survived by her husband Troyce Barton of Argyle with whom 63 years of marriage exemplified love and devotion. She also leaves a cherished legacy through daughter, Dr. Karen Michelle Nielsen of Valley View, two grandchildren, Nicole Renee West of Arlington and Chad Nielsen of Cedar Park, Texas, and many cousins, nieces and nephews throughout the North Texas area.

Stella will be remembered for her thoughtful heart, her unwavering devotion to her friends and loved ones, and the joy she brought to those around her.
