Stella Mae Grandfield, 69, of Denton passed away on May 30, 2021, at her home surrounded by her family. She was born on October 2, 1951, in Sherman, Texas to Alvie and Edna (Raines) Gann.

Stella married Jim Grandfield the 24 ^th of June 1967. They raised eight children together. She lived for her family and God. She was a giver by nature and always made sure others needs were met before her own. Stella was over the top! If she was in charge of anything, she would make sure it was two hundred times extra, as that's exactly how she wanted it. She saw joy in doing for others; she loved nothing more than to put a smile on your face. She loved like no other; no matter how many times a day you talked to her, she would always make sure you knew how much she loved you before saying goodbye.

She is survived by her husband, James, daughters, Tracy Grandfield of Denton, Toni Jones and husband Leslie of Nocona, Trista Martin of Nocona, Jami Barbour of Owensboro, Kentucky, Shawn Roof and husband Tony of Nocona, son, James Grandfield, and wife Lula of Vernon, twenty-three grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Ronald Gann, her mother and father, Edna and Alvie Gann, daughters, Georgia Martin and Terri Harrell, and grandson Kerry Jones.

The family will greet friends on Friday, June 4, 2021, from 9-10 AM at Gribble Springs Baptist Church in Sanger. Funeral services will begin at 10:00 AM at the church. Interment will follow at Gribble Springs Cemetery.
