Obituary

Stephanie Renee Jensen, beloved daughter, cherished mother, devoted teacher, and loyal friend, passed away on July 3, 2026, in Sanger, Texas. Born on December 4, 1973, in Denton, Texas, Stephanie’s life was a testament to love, determination, and the steadfast bonds of family.

Stephanie’s early years in Krum shaped her into the compassionate person she became. Her parents, Eddie and Linda Henderson, gave her the foundation of kindness and resilience that she carried throughout her life. As a mother to her daughter, Amelia Jensen, Stephanie’s nurturing spirit and unwavering support served as guiding lights. Her pride in Amelia was evident to all who knew them, and the love between mother and daughter remains an enduring part of Stephanie’s legacy.

For more than 25 years, Stephanie devoted her life to teaching elementary school children. Teaching was far more than a profession—it was central to her identity and one of her greatest passions. She believed every child deserved to feel seen, encouraged, and capable of success. With patience, compassion, and an unwavering commitment to her students, she touched the lives of countless children and their families, leaving a lasting impact both inside and outside the classroom.

Her family and friends remember Stephanie as thoughtful, warm, and dependable. Her care and attention were ever present, and her ability to bring comfort in times of need uplifted those around her. Whether as a mother, daughter, teacher, or friend, Stephanie's kindness, generosity, and quiet strength enriched the lives of everyone fortunate enough to know her. In her community and within her family, her presence was both a source of strength and gentle encouragement.

Stephanie’s loss is deeply mourned by her father, Eddie Henderson; her mother, Linda Henderson; and her beloved daughter, Amelia Jensen. Each carries with them memories of a woman whose generosity, compassion, and loving spirit left an indelible mark on their hearts.

A visitation will be held at Bill DeBerry Funeral Directors, located at 2025 W.
