Obituary
Stephen J. Rogers, Sr., passed away on April 6, 2017 in Denton, Texas. He was born on February 5, 1946 to Clifford and Esther (Goularte) Rogers in San Jose, California.
He graduated from Washington High School in Fremont, California and was a graduate of Berkeley College.
He married Stephanie Duke on March 27, 1965 in Fremont, California and went to work for Peterbilt and later was the Engineer Supervisor. He retired from Peterbilt after nearly 45 years of work.
He is survived by his wife, Stephanie Rogers of Denton, daughters; Sheila Maupin and husband Kenneth of Denton, Shannon Kilgariff and husband Dan of Fremont, California and Sheridan Stocke and husband Phil of Benicia, California, son, Stephen J. Rogers Jr and partner Barry Pullum of Burlingame, California, Sisters; Nancy Murri and husband Tom, Rosanne Rush and Mary Bollinger, brothers; Thomas Rogers and wife Sharon, Timothy Rogers and wife Carmen and Jack Rogers and wife Maria, six grandson, Stephen Rogers, Kevin Maupin, Kyle Maupin, Scott Maupin, James Stocke, Liam Kilgariff and one granddaughter, Riley Kilgariff.
He is preceded in death by his mother and father.
In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the National Kidney Foundation in honor of Stephen Rogers, Sr.
