Stephine Renee Gibson was born on January 18, 1984, to Kevin and Tonya Williams in Denton, Texas. From a young age, she exhibited a strong sense of independence and always had a clear vision of what she wanted. Once she set her mind to something, nothing could stop her.

Steph was a member of the East Prairie Street Church of Christ where she found joy in singing spiritual songs that uplifted both herself and those around her.

Steph Married Brian Gibson on July 25, 2009, and they welcomed two beautiful sons, Brennan, born September 7, 2006 and Cayden Gibson born June 18, 2013.

Those two boys became her world.

Steph was her happiest when she was able to travel. She traveled as far as Malaysia and Dublin. Disney was her favorite spot. She was also relaxed and happy on the back of the Harley, traveling down the highway to Gunter, Texas.

Steph was a free spirit with a generous heart and a deep passion for helping others. Her last act of kindness as an organ donor, made it possible for multiple recipients to receive lifesaving organs.

Her memory will remain alive in the hearts of her family.  Her parents, Kevin and Tonya Williams, sister Bridgett Williams, sons Brennan and Cayden Gibson, a nephew Christian Williams (whom she regarded as one of her own), and her grandmother, Dorris Walker.

Her family ties extend to a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, in-laws and cherished friends whom she embraced as family.

Visitation for Steph will be on Friday, December 13, 2024, from 5-7pm at DeBerry Funeral Home. Her funeral service will be the following day, December 14, at Simmons Street Church of Christ at 11:00am. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Denton.
