Steven Russell Dietz, aged 49, of Krum, Texas, passed away on November 17, 2025. Born in Denton, Texas, on February 7, 1976, to Teddy and Kathy Dietz, Steven was a devoted husband to Kathy and a proud father to his two daughters, Kali and Bella.

Family was everything to Steven, and he worked tirelessly to create a loving and supportive home. His infectious laughter and positive spirit brought joy and warmth to everyone he encountered. Steven's passion for his faith and his community was evident in his dedicated involvement in local churches. Over the years, he contributed his time and talents to Midway Church and Rock Creek Church, where he formed lasting friendships and inspired others with his genuine spirit. Most recently, he attended Valley Creek Church with his family, touching the lives of many with his story of faith and fostering a sense of belonging among the congregations.

Despite the struggles he faced with anxiety, Steven transformed his experiences into a powerful testimony of resilience. He openly shared his journey, encouraging others to seek help and support. His courage in confronting these challenges served as an inspiration to many and highlighted the importance of faith, family, hope, and healing.

Beyond his role as a family man, Steven had a passion for sports, movies, music, the outdoors, and the Buffalo Bills, which he pursued with enthusiasm. He had an uncanny ability to connect with people, making friends wherever he went.

Steven is survived by his wife, Kathy Dietz of Krum, their two daughters, Kali and Bella Dietz, his mother, Kathy Dietz of Sanger, Texas, and his brother, Callan Dietz and his wife, Chantel, of Ponder, Texas. They will forever cherish the wonderful memories they created together. He was preceded in death by his father, Teddy Dietz.

A private graveside service will be held in honor of Steven on Monday, November 24, 2025, in Denton, Texas. The family invites you to join them in celebrating Steven's life on Friday, November 28th at 6pm at Rock Creek Church located at 2860 W. First St. Prosper, Texas 75078. Friends and family are invited to attend and share stories and memories as we honor his legacy.

Steven Dietz will be deeply missed but never forgotten. His love, kindness, and laughter will live on in our hearts.
