Steven Dwayn Smith passed away in Fort Worth, Texas on Sunday, February 4th, 2024. He was born in Joliet, Illinois on January 18th, 1968 and joined his parents, Clyde and Genieve Smith.

Steven enjoyed the football season with his team the Pittsburgh Steelers. He enjoyed being outdoors to fish, camp, and golf, and spending time with his family and friends.

Steven is survived by his wife Kristen Smith, and his children, Elizabeth Moore, Lynette Macedo, Kaley Couch, Corbin Couch and Caden Ballard, along with his grandchildren Natalia Macedo, Angel Macedo, Ariana Macedo, Evelynn Moore, and Elijah Moore. He is also survived by his parents Clyde and Genieve Smith, and his sisters Rhonda Smithson and Rebecca Preckwinkle, and his brother, Daniel Smith.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents Bud and Ellen Townsend along with Clyde V. and Faye Smith.

Steven left a significant impression on those he met in life and will be dearly missed. His humor and personality made him unforgettable. His family is touched by the outpour of love for Steven.

He will be celebrated with family and friends together as a whole. Please join his memorial service scheduled for 1PM, Saturday, February 17th, 2024 at DeBerry Funeral Directors in Denton, Texas.
