Steven Todd Willis, 52, of Denton Texas passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Saturday, April 22nd at Presbyterian Hospital of Denton. Todd was born April 13, 1965 in Denton Texas to Joye Haynes Willis and Leslie Harold Willis. Todd was a 1983 Denton High School graduate and held a B.A. degree in finance from the University of North Texas. He worked in the financial arena for many years.

Todd's passions were hunting, fishing and baseball. He shared his love of baseball by coaching his nephew Will Klausing, his son Haden Willis and a limitless number of young ballplayers in addition to serving on the board of Denton Boys Baseball for countless years.

Todd was so very proud of his two children Emily and Haden Willis. He is also survived by his sister Leslie Willis Klausing, niece Bonnie Klausing Espino and her husband Brad Espino, nephew Will Klausing, and mother of his children Julie Willis.

He was preceded in death by his parents Joye and Harold Willis and brother in law Jim Klausing.

The family will have a private gathering of family and close friends in the upcoming weeks.
