Stevie Joe Howard, 63, of Denton, passed away on Saturday, November 28, 2015. He was born in Childress on October 8, 1952 to Milton and, the late, Ora Irene Howard. He married Jeanne Downey on June 8, 2013 in Dallas. He worked for Wheeler Pump as the Lead Service Technician.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Ora Irene Robinson Howard. He is survived by his wife, Jeanne Howard of Denton; father, Milton F. Howard of Childress; brothers, Frank Howard and wife Nancy of Hutto, John Howard and wife Patty of Midland; sons, Michael Hancock and wife Lauren of Houston, Mark Hancock and wife Liz of Corpus Christi; daughters, Donna Schwausch and husband Neal of Copperas Cove, Christina Kinsey and husband Bobby of New Braunfels; 15 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild; aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at the First Baptist Church at 300 Ave C NW in Childress, Texas on December 12, 2015 at 2pm. Arrangements may be sent to the church on the day of the services.
