Sue Lucky, 81, of Robson Ranch Denton passed away on June 27, 2019. She was born on January 4, 1938 in Pickton, TX to Paul and Carina Alford.

She accepted Christ at age 12 at Winterfield Baptist Church in Pickton, TX and graduated from Como Pickton High School.  Her professional career was as an executive secretary for Texas Power & Light and private secretary for the president of ARCO Solar.  She was then the pastor's secretary for Hillcrest Baptist Church.

Sue's life was filled with love for her husband and family.  Meme was her name and spoiling was her game.

She was survived by her husband, Don Lucky, son Danny Lucky and wife Jeannie of Lancaster, daughter Toni Lucky of Trophy Club, son Donnie Lucky and wife Sherry of Euless, grandchildren Phillip and Jeremy Lucky, Kristen Selby, Kayce Stillings, Stacy Person and Amber Lucky and her first great-grandchild, Elias Selby, is due in August.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father, sister Patsy Brumley and daughter Donna Lucky.

The family will receive friends on Monday July 1, 2019 from 6-8 P.M. at DeBerry Funeral Directors in Denton.  The service will be on Tuesday July 2, 2019 at 1 P.M. at the DeBerry chapel.  Interment will follow at the Medlin Cemetery in Trophy Club located at 1130 Trophy Club Drive.  A reception will follow for friends and family.
