Janice Sue Rutledge passed away in Denton, Texas on Monday, June 17, 2024. She was born in Glenmore, Louisiana on December 6, 1936. Sue enjoyed watching John Wayne movies, gardening, listening to her country songs, spending time with her family and she enjoyed the Rocky Mountains. She is preceded in death by her mother Winnie Mae Swope.

A celebration of life will be held at DeBerry Funeral Directors from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM on Sunday, June 30, 2024.

Sue is survived by her daughters Deborah Duran and husband Steve, Vickie Ramsey and husband Paul, and son Jerry Whittington, grandchildren, Justin, Jennifer, Jodi, Blair, Angela, Bradley, Keith, Kyle, Clay and 20 great-grandchildren
