Susan Jean Eitel Ph.D.

Surrounded by family and friends, Susan Jean Eitel passed away peacefully on the afternoon of May 30, 2013.

Susan is the daughter of Jean Louise Baus and the late James Oscar Baus. She is survived by her mother; her husband, Dick; son, Andy, daughter-in-law Elizabeth; and granddaughter Avery; her brother Jim, sister-in-law Julie, and their 4 children; her sisters, Debbie, brother-in-law Frank, Tina, brother-in-law Loren, and their 2 children.

Susan found her passion within the education system and with the support of her family and friends proudly graduated with her Ph.D in 2007. She then went on to empower others through her teachings at Texas Woman's University, where she retired May 31, 2011.

Susan was a remarkable Daughter, Wife, Mom, Sister, Grandmother, Teacher, Mentor and Friend.

There will be a celebration of her life held at the Little Chapel in the Woods, on the Texas Woman's University Campus, Saturday June 8, 2013 from 12-2 pm.
