Tambi Lynn Laird, 61, of Krum, Texas passed away on December 1, 2022 in Denton, Texas. She was born on February 1, 1961 in Little Rock, Arkansas to Howard and Theadora (Lindsey) Gwin.

Tambi was a beloved Wife, Mother, Nana, and Friend. She and Eric were married 31 years and shared a beautiful life together with their 5 children and 10 grandchildren. Tambi's greatest joy was being a Nana to her grandchildren and was immensely proud of her children.

The beach was Tambi's happy place, which meant regular trips to Galveston each year. This Summer, Tambi was able to share her love of the beach with her grandchildren.

Tambi was everyone's biggest cheerleader. She didn't hesitate to give her opinion, but she never dismissed you for your choice. She always welcomed you if it didn't work out as she slid a little 'I told you so' into the conversation. Nevertheless, she was always there to listen no matter what. She gave the biggest hugs and always made sure every conversation ended with 'I love you'.

Tambi leaves behind a beautiful legacy and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Tambi was preceded in death by her son, Max. She is survived by her husband, Eric Laird of Krum, sons, Michael Todd and wife Allison of Denton, Lucas Laird and wife, Tiffany of North Richland Hills, Scott Laird and wife Madison of Northlake, and daughter, Erika Cutforth and husband James of Decatur and ten grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, December 4, 2022 from 1PM – 3PM at DeBerry Funeral Directors in Denton, Texas. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, December 5, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Grace Point Church in Denton, Texas. Interment will follow at Graham Argyle Cemetery, in Argyle, Texas.
