Ted Reed, age 88, of Justin, Texas passed away on Saturday, May 07, 2022. Visitation will be at 9:00 am and the funeral service at 10:00 am on Tuesday, May 10, 2022, at the First Baptist Church of Justin. Burial will follow at Thurmond Fairview Cemetery.

Ted was born in Memphis, Texas to the late Henry Dewey Reed and Jennie Dean Reed. He married the love of his life, Pat in 1956. Ted was a 74-year member of the First Baptist Church of Justin where he served as deacon and most recently as deacon emeritus for the past 51 years. He spent his career in aviation first with the US Navy followed by 46 years of service with Bell Helicopter in management roles.

Ted was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Scotty Reed. He is survived by his beloved and devoted wife of 66 years, Pat Reed; daughter, Patti Purvis; and son, Freddie Reed, and wife Jayne.
