Thanna Bounds, 83 of Lake Dallas passed away Saturday, February 09, 2013 in Corinth. She was born January 16, 1930 in Farmers Valley, TX to Julius Fritz Drieschner and Ruby Helen McAdams Drieschner. She married Ivan Carl Bounds on November 14, 1953 in Denton. He preceded her in death on September 22, 2009. She was a member of the Lake Dallas Church of Christ, former council woman, Swisher Cemetery Association and other local public service groups.

Visitation will be Monday, February 11, 2013 from 6 – 8 p.m. at DeBerry Funeral Directors. Funeral service will be Tuesday, February 12, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Lake Dallas Church of Christ with Andy Warren officiating. Burial will follow at Swisher Cemetery.

She is survived by daughters: Annie Bounds Highfill and Eda Marie Bounds; grandchildren, Karla Ogborn Rogge, Oliver Ross Overholt, Michael Glenn Overholt and Harley Hunter Highfill; and great granddaughter, Emma Reneé Overholt.
