Theda Arlene Boydston, 76, of Denton , passed away peacefully Saturday morning at Presbyterian Hospital in Denton .  She was born December 13, 1940 in Denton to John Grissom and Betty Joyce Batey Grissom.  She attended Denton Public Schools and married Danny Ray Boydston on May 11, 1957 in Ardmore , OK .  He preceded her in death on May 11, 1994 .  She was a full-time mother of four boys.

Graveside Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. , Thursday, February 16, 2017 at the Trinity Cemetery east of Denton .

She is survived by her sons, Keith Boydston and wife Suzi of Columbus GA, Danny Boydston and wife Ruth of Corinth, John Boydston and wife Chris of Aubrey, Doug Boydston and wife Susan of Sanger, sisters, Lynda Crombie and husband Don of Athens, Karen Morris and husband Larry of Anna, six grandchildren; Josh, Ashley, Adam, Jessica, Jeremy and Andrew, and five great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to a cancer charity of your choice.
