Obituary
Thelma Ruth Creelman Davis, 86, of Pilot Point passed away Thursday, May 21, 2015 in Denton. She was born March 18, 1929 in Empire City, OK to William Thomas Creelman and Lydia Litchford Creelman. She was married to the late Wayne T. Davis.
Visitation will be Friday, May 22, 2015 from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. at DeBerry Funeral Directors. Funeral service will be Saturday, May 23, 2015 at 10:00 A.M. at Central Baptist Church in Denton with Rev. Paul Shelton officiating. Burial will follow at Central Cemetery in Hawley, TX.
Thelma is survived by son, Roy Davis and wife Linda; brothers, Orvil Creelman and Bob Creelman, brother-in-law, Jack Davis, sister-in-law, Opal Vide, granddaughters, Beverly Sue Davis Ewing and husband Bryan, Delinda White, grandson, Roy Wayne Davis and wife Courtney, and 4 great granddaughters. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister, Wanda Childress and brother, G.W. Creelman who was buried in France during WWII.
