Obituary

Thelma Mae (McGraw) Groppell passed away Saturday night, April 23, 2016 at the Cornerstone Assisted Living Center in Lewisville. She was born in Milam County, TX to David Charles Gann and Lela Viola Cosby Gann. She was a member of the St. Phillips Catholic Church in Lewisville.

A Memorial Rosary will be said at DeBerry Funeral Directors Chapel Tuesday, April 26, 2016, at 6:00 P.M. with Rosary starting at 7:00 P.M.
A Memorial Mass will be held Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at 10 am at the Immaculate Conception Church of Denton.

She is survived by 2 daughters Deborah and husband Rick of Mabank, Jeanette and husband Randy of Shady Shores, 2 sons, Shawn of Denton, Robert and wife Mary of Lewisville, sister, Kathleen of Buckholts, TX, brother, Lane of Austin, 6 grandchildren, Diane, Michael, Cory, Nicholas, Connor and Taggart, 4 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.

Thelma was preceded in death by her parents David and Lela Gann, siblings, W.T., Charles, Buren, Eula Helen. She was also preceded by her children's father; Robert McGraw and latter husband Louis Groppell.
