Thomas Arnold Brown, 83, of Corinth, TX passed away on Sunday, February 13, 2022. He was born in Salt Lake City, UT on August 2, 1938, to Arnold Jones Brown and Marie Berg Brown. He graduated from University of Utah with a BS Degree and a member Kappa Sigma Fraternity.
He married Janet Lou Wilson on December 22, 1980, in Dallas, TX at the Dallas County Courthouse. They were members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was employed/retired from Medicare Insurance sales for18 years and computer sales for most of his life at different companies such as IBM.
Tom, as he rather be called, enjoyed playing golf and watching NFL Football.
He loved sales because he loved talking with people. Complimented as always smiling and friendly; people praised him for his helpful manner.
A funeral service will take place at the DeBerry Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, February 26, 2022, beginning at 3:00 PM. A visitation will take place an hour prior to the service from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
He is survived by his wife, Jan of 41 years, a daughter, Erin (Brown) & Kevin McAnally and two granddaughters, Macy Marie McAnally and Meghan Brown McAnally of Lewisville, TX, and a son, Greg T. Brown & Sheryl of Joshua, TX.
Sister Carole (Brown) & Gary Bunker of Utah with sixteen nieces and nephews. Sister Sherrie (Brown) & Ron Ulicny of Oregon with 10 nieces and nephew.
Tom will be taken to Pechacek-McClure Funeral Home in Chester, Illinois for a graveside service at the Paradise Cemetery in Steeleville, Illinois
Memorials may be made to The American Cancer Society in honor of Thomas A Brown.
There will be a luncheon at The Church of Latter-Days Saints at 4501 Teasley Lane, Denton, TX 76210 directly after the service.
