Thomas Richard Macauley of Denton passed away Friday, September 13, 2013. He was born on July 25, 1941 in Orange, New Jersey to Thomas and Anna Macauley. He married Ruth Hensley in June of 2000 in Lewisville, Tx.

Thomas was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church. He was a former member of the Air Force and served during the Viet Nam conflict.

In the early 1980's Tom established SKS Consulting. He named his company after his three greatest accomplishments – his kids – Sheri, Kevin, and Shannon.

Tom is survived by his wife, Ruth Macauley; daughters, Sheri Thierry and husband David of McKinney, Shannon Jones and husband Bryan of Syracuse, Utah; sons, Kevin Macauley and wife Kelly of McKinney, Tom Davis and wife Sherri of Montague, and Coy Davis of Denton; sister, Patricia Smeraldo and husband Peter of Lincoln Park, New Jersey; 11 grandchildren, Dylan, Isabel, Patrick, Alyssa, Gavin, Ewan, Mikey, Toree, Cheyenne, Michael, Hanna, and one great grandchild, Aleigha.

Visitation will be held 6-8pm Tuesday, September 17 at DeBerry Funeral Directors. Services will be held on Wednesday at 11:30am in the chapel of DeBerry Funeral Directors with burial to follow at the Dallas/Fort Worth National Cemetery.
