Thomas Fabion Nardecchia, 72, of Gainesville, TX passed away on Monday, April 11, 2022. He was born in Austin, Texas on July 26, 1949, to Victor and Vernie Nardecchia.

Tom's journey would take him from working in the family restaurant, Victors, in Austin into the National Guard followed by a radio show counseling callers which led him into the service of the church as an ordained minister that specialized in leading worship from behind his piano. He would continue to fill his home with music as he found the perfect work-life balance of three days of work a week when he started his company the Palletman, which he ran successfully for 25 years until he retired to Lake Kiowa where he spent his final days golfing with friends.

Tom was a very accomplished sportsman and found ways to spend most days outdoors. He spent many years on the beach volleyball court, winning his amateur class at spike fest with his son. Then settled into playing golf regularly, earning a hole in one at hole 8 of the Lake Kiowa Golf Course.

He married Jo Nardecchia on February 14, 1994 in Fairview Texas. A loving and wonderful licensed social worker who counseled individuals and families. Together they supported their family and friends and really cared about making the world a little better when they were not at home playing scrabble or working on a crossword puzzle.

He leaves a huge hole in the hearts of his two surviving children Mark Nardecchia and Merideth Nardecchia and grandchildren Shelby Frantz and Taylor Charlton, who were always entertained by his stories, puns, and hilarious sense of humor.

He is survived by his brother Danny Nardecchia

He was preceded in death by his brothers DeNelma Layne Reed, Edward Nardecchia, and Victor David Nardecchia.

The celebration of life will be held at Lake Kiowa Lodge on April 21, 2022 from 2 - 4 pm.
