Thomas Tighe Sullivan, 73 of Denton, passed away on Saturday, October 19, 2013. He was born on April 10, 1940 in Ottawa, Iowa to Paul John Sullivan and Maureen Tighe Sullivan. He married Patricia Alcott in El Paso, Texas on January 28, 1960 and was a member of the Fellowship at the Ranch. He was a member of the Kiwanis Club, the Rotary, the Lions Club, Lincoln County Sheriffs Posse, Texas Narcotics Officers Association, New Mexico Sheriffs Association, and Billy the Kid Stampede. Thomas was a Lincoln County Sheriff in New Mexico until his retirement.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 26, 2013 at 10:30 am in the Chapel of DeBerry Funeral Directors with Rev. Jim Wilkins officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park.

Thomas is survived by his wife, Patricia; sons, Mike, Brian, and Paul Sullivan; sister, Patricia Sullivan; brother, Terrance Patrick Sullivan; and 6 grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Maureen Sullivan; and his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Stanley and Alice Alcott.
