Thomas "Patch" West, 52, of Hurst, passed away on Monday, May 21, 2012 after a 12 year courageous battle with MS. He was born on September 21, 1959 in Atlanta, GA to Thomas Gerald West and Mary Margaret Curtis West (Deweese). He was a machinist at Sigma Enterprises, INC, and member of TMRA, TMRA II, NCOM, Denton ABATE (at state and local levels) and the Mid-South Mile Motorcycle Rights Organization.

A memorial service will be on Saturday, May 26, 2012 at 11:00 am in the Chapel of DeBerry Funeral Directors with Rev. Glen Daniels officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the National MS Society, 8111 N. Stadium Dr, Suite 100, Houston, TX 77054.

Thomas is survived by his daughters, Jennifer Henderson of Lewisville, Jillian Daniels of Krum, and Julie Hicks of Point Mugu, CA; sister, Jeanette McGee of Arlington; and 8 grandchildren: Addison, Caden, Austin, Max, Jackson, Rylie, Kalie, and Colton. Tom is also survived by his beloved aunts, uncles and cousins. He is preceded in death by his parents.
