Obituary

Timothy Paul Mangrum, 40, of Denton, passed away on Wednesday, October 31, 2012. He was born on December 13, 1971 in Tunica, Mississippi to Jimmy Mangrum and Ruth Ward Mangrum. He married Melinda Susanne Charney in September of 1998. He was the owner and operator of Lone Star Indoor Sports in Denton. He was very active in Denton GOP, the Rotary Club, and Toastmasters. His passions were in-line roller hockey, scuba diving, motorcycles, and photography.

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 2, 2012 from 6-8 pm at DeBerry Funeral Directors. Graveside service for close friends and family will be at Roselawn Memorial Park at 2:00 pm on Saturday, November 3, 2012. A funeral service will be held at 3:30 pm on Saturday, November 3, 2012 at The Argyle Campus of Crosstimbers Community Church with Kent Sparks officiating. Memorials may be made to the Tim Mangrum Memorial Fund at any Point Bank location, or to the Youth Hockey Fund C/O Lone Star Indoor Sports, 1800 Shady Oaks, Denton, TX 76205

Timothy is survived by his wife, Melinda; daughter, Bethany Nicole Mangrum; sons, Trevor Cole and John Mitchell Mangrum; parents, Jimmy and Ruth Mangrum; sister, Lydia Renee Ruff; and brother, Mark Evan Mangrum. He is preceded in death by his sister, Karen Denise Mangrum.
