Timothy Gerard Prenger passed away in Justin, Texas on Sunday, November 13, 2022. He was born in Jefferson City, Missouri to Leo and Virginia Prenger. Tim enjoyed sponsoring and leading people to sobriety; 'surrender surrender surrender' is what he would say. He enjoyed spending time with family and playing with his grandkids. Tim was always listening to music  whether it was driving around in a Cadillac or blaring it in his room, there was always music playing. We will miss his punny jokes and making us laugh. He is preceded in death by his parents, and he is survived by 3 children: David Zachary Prenger of Macon Mo, Sarah Mae Sladcik (Samuel) of Justin TX, and Stormie Prenger of Gainesville TX and his 3 grandchildren Savannah, Mason, and Oakley. He is also survived by siblings, Tress Prenger of Jefferson City Mo, Ken Prenger (Myrna) of St Charles Mo, Jackie Stone (Bill) of Wardsville Mo, Matt Prenger, of Callao Mo, Melanie Runion (Dave) of Fenton Mo, Karen Welty (Kevin) of Washington IL, and Stephanie Prenger of Macon Mo.  Also, numerous nieces and nephews and great/nieces and great-nephews.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M., Thursday, November 17, 2022, at DeBerry Funeral Home in Denton, Texas. Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 A.M. on Friday, November 18, 2022, also at DeBerry's.
