Tina Michelle Lasater, 54 of Denton passed away at home on August 29, 2015. She was born at Flow Hospital in Denton on June 2, 1961. She graduated from Denton High School in 1979 and graduated from Cooke County Jr. College School of Nursing. Most recently, she was a Rehabilitation Specialist at Good Samaritan Village. Before that, she was an EMT.

She spent her life caring for others. She especially enjoyed spending time with her dog, Lulu.

The family will be at DeBerry Funeral Directors for Visitation Thursday morning, September 3, 2015 from 10:00-11:00 a.m. The funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of DeBerry Funeral Directors with the Rev. Buddy Owens officiating. Burial will follow.

The family has requested that memorials be made to the Linda McNatt Animal Care and Adoption Center in Denton.

Tina is survived by her mother, Peggy Lasater of Denton, father, George Lasater and wife Jan of Lorena, sister, Robin Patterson of Denton, and brother, Scott Lasater of Denton, brother-in-law, Rodney Patterson, nephews, Dusty Patterson and Chase Patterson and their families, Bailey, Claire, Easton, Taya, Haygen, Carolyn, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
